About the Camp

Join us for an unforgettable time of spiritual growth, family bonding, and fun at the Jim Ned Valley Church of Christ Family Camp. Nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, the H.E. Butt Foundation Camp offers stunning views, crystal-clear waters from the Frio River headwaters, and a peaceful setting to focus on God and His creation.

Our camp is designed for families and youth who have completed 2nd grade through high school (youth may attend without a guardian). With Bible study, devotionals, singing, and plenty of outdoor fun, this camp creates lasting memories and spiritual renewal.

Activities Include

• Family worship and Bible lessons

• Devotionals and singing

• Canoeing and swimming

• Games and recreation

• Christian fellowship

• Campfire chats and personal reflection

What You Need to Know

• Applications & Forms Required:

  • Camper Application (Adult & Student)

  • Medical Release & Health Form

  • Camp Rules Agreement

  • HEB Foundation Camp Individual Release of Liability

• What to Pack:

  • Bible, flashlight, sunscreen, toiletries

  • Modest clothing (no spaghetti straps or short shorts)

  • Sleeping bag or twin sheets and pillow

  • Swimsuit with a T-shirt or tank top worn over it

  • Athletic and water shoes

  • Refillable water bottle

  • No gum or electronic devices (phones allowed for camera/Bible apps only)

• Rules to Follow:

  • Respectful behavior and modest dress expected at all times

  • Campers must attend all scheduled activities

  • No weapons, alcohol, tobacco, or fireworks

  • No roughhousing, bullying, or pranks

  • Shoes must be worn at all times except when in the river
